The presentation, besides the review of the afore mentioned scientific book that is a basic original in any attempt of analyzing the architecture and art in this region, was as well subtly enriched with an exhibition of art photographs by Damir Klaić,  „Međimurski pilovi“ (The Međimurian Crucifixes). Damir Klaić was a student at our school and he staged this exhibition in London as well. The specific dense placing of photographs, creative focusing and dusk-based framing impressively presented not only the life drama of a Međimurian man but his spiritual strength as well that is supported by crucifixes giving hope and salvation in the endless plain.

The event was closed by a presentation by Zoran Pazman, BA (Architecture), School Principal. The presentation dealt with efforts to relieve school from just fulfilling curriculum and syllabuses and to thus induce sensibility in students for the values of the traditional architecture and  building methods by means of field assignments, colonies and outings accompanied with drawing. Students would thus get to know the old traditional buildings and ways in which they were built  as well through projects such as CREDU (in partnership with Zsigmondy Vilmos és Széchenyi István school of Nagykanizsa, Hungary). The objective of the project is to make students able to survey and document objects that are in danger of turning into ruins and to file the respective documentation permanently in the digital portal.
